Empire Walnut Writing Desk

A writing desk built from solid American black walnut with Empire period design proportions and brass hardware details. Two functional drawers feature hand-cut dovetail joinery with drawer boxes made from African Paduuk wood, creating a signature detail visible when drawers are opened. Designed for home offices and studies where a desk serves as both workspace and visual anchor. The solid brass USB-C outlet is inlaid directly into the desktop surface, with power cords concealed inside the back leg to eliminate visible cable management. Brass drawer pulls reference classical furniture hardware while maintaining clean lines. Built to function as a dedicated workspace that improves with age and daily use.
